The Kumquatery is based in Renmark, which is in the Riverland, South Australia. We (Andrew & Patria) along with our children (Steven & Jorja) currently grow and process fruit from 500 Kumquat trees on our property.
The property consist of 2 varieties, each with their own distinctive flavour.
Nagami – small oval shaped fruit, tangy sweet.
Marumi – small round shaped fruit, sweet rind.
Once picked we process them into a range of tasty kumquat products which include – Candied kumquats, kumquat krumble, naturally dehydrated kumquats, kumquats in syrup, syrup, jams, dark chocolates and choc dipped de-hy.
Our products can be used in an array of cooking, tasting platters, baking or just on their own.
The Kumquatery welcome tours and tastings by appointment to sample the Kumquatery range of products.
